TAL JONES - BOARD PRESIDENT
The Honorable Talmadge Jones has been the RDLA Board President since 2004. He has provided invaluable leadership, guidance and support to the Noland’s vision of helping children through the arts and music. Tal is a retired Superior Court Judge and former Deputy Attorney General in the State of California. He and his wife Carolyn have 3 married daughters, 8 grandchildren, and are longtime members of the Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church. Tal loves the arts and is a talented pianist and fine artist. His “snoopy drawings” and messages can be found all over East Sacramento County and have been encouragement to many throughout the region.
JOHN HENDERSON - VICE PRESIDENT
John Henderson has served on the RDLA Board since 2004. Mr. Henderson is a practicing trial attorney in Roseville,California, and is a sponsor of youth sports and enrichment programs.He is the past President of the Casa Roble Ram Booster Club and co-founder and first President of the Orangevale Huskies Youth Football and Cheer Program. John is a graduate of UCLA and UOP/McGeorge School of Law.
LEAH CAMERON - TREASURER
Leah Cameron joined the board in 2016. Ms. Cameron attended Sierra Mountain Music Camp as a teenager and remembers camp as one of the most formative of her childhood music experiences. Ms. Cameron now works as an attorney, practicing labor and employment law in San Francisco at the firm of Carothers DiSante & Freudenberger. She attended law school at University of California, Hastings in San Francisco. Ms. Cameron holds a bachelor’s degree in music (vocal performance) from Wheaton College Conservatory of Music in Wheaton, Illinois. In her spare time, Ms. Cameron is actively involved in music ministry at her church and enjoys singing in the Sonoma Bach Choir/
PEGGY NOLAND - CO-FOUNDER/BOARD MEMBER
Peggy Noland is the co-founder of RDLA with her husband Gus in 1969. In 1994 she helped launch the Sierra Mountain Music Camp and has been a regular attender and participant every year since. Peggy also sits on the Sierra Mountain Music Camp Board and has a critical eye for class and grace and ensures that each camper enjoys their own camp experience. Peggy raised 5 children while working in Head Start and Social Work in Sacramento County and Butte Counties. She is a graduate of Colorado A&M and attended North Denver High School in Denver Colorado.
