The Mike Noland Choral Director’s Workshop is sponsored by RDLA each fall.  The purpose of the Workshop is to encourage, inspire and challenge music and choral directors.  Conductors, choral directors, muscicians, administrators, and pastors are all welcome.  The Workshop is closely tied to the Mike Noland Institute; a continuing discussion on:

1. What music is?

2. Why is music important?

3. How does music help children?

The idea is to keep visiting the question of “why are we doing what we are doing?”
